Princelet Street, Spitalfields

<p><i></i>Pricelet Street is really popular for photo shoots and film locations–its old buildings and eclectic feel make it a dream set for period pieces and dramatic scenes. This building was built in the early 18th century and is deliberately kept looking a bit gritty–it's been used in in the celebrated BBC series <i>Luther</i>.  </p>

It can be perfectly admired from the Westminster Bridge and is a great way to admire the sunset over the House of Parliament.  </p>

Big Ben

<p>Contrary to popular belief, Big Ben is actually the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock placed in the tower, but often extended to refer to the clock and the clock tower. The tower is actually officially known as Elizabeth Tower, renamed to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II in 2012.  </p>

Contrariamente a quanto si dice Big Ben è in realtà il soprannome per la grande campana dell'orologio collocato nella torre, termine che spesso si usa per riferirsi a tutta la struttura.
